Firsts, Animal Crackers, and Job Hunting failures

Hello people of the intarnetz (aka Sav and Karlton)!

I set up this blog account the other day, but have yet to make a post - just me blowing it in one capacity or another. My former blogs with wordpress and yahoo.jp, but have long bit the dust and were inexplicably un-entertaining. Hopefully, I won't make the same mistake twice! ...err, thrice!

So I decided I need to start eating healthier, or some shit, lately. So I went to the local Food Shitty and purchased the only healthy thing that came into my mind - veggies! Woooo! Then I came back and began my first cooking adventure. It was a long, tedious journey of frying and molding rice into strange beveled triangles (Google Onigiri), but I the end product was totally worth it.

Now doesn't that look phuckin' delicious!! And a lot like Elmo! I should be a chef - better yet, a chef for kids, even! Spam (love itttt) onigiri, mixed vegetables, and rice with salmon furikake on top for those who are curious.

The first person I showed the picture to said it sounded kinda gross. I swiftly reminded them how worthless their opinion was, and how they should consume feces and cease to live. Don't fuck with my cooking - especially my first attempt at it. I will get sassy.

Speaking of kids' shit - I was keeping my main hoe Savvy company at an Exxon (visit her blog for deets), when I found this fuckin' diamond in the rough:

Damn right - Animal Crackers. I have been in love with these calcium filled, government cookies since before I could read the box! I never see these around anymore though! Apparently they're hiding in dirty gas stations. I always loved the little string by which you could carry them around. Like, honestly, quit being a pussy and just hold the box.

I was going to get into my job hunting escapades, but then I realized that it could be summed up in one sentence:

I haven't found shit.

Bam. Topic closed. No, but really - it's hard out there for a hustler. Japan is failing me. If I get another e-mail saying "hey we'd love to have you re-apply once you're here and have a visa," I'll stab an Asian or two (look out Soho!!). The funny thing is that I'm applying to these places to get a visa because you can't work in Japan without one - and you can't get one unless you have a job before going to Japan. Le sigh

Oh well - gotta stay on the grind, and something will surely come my way.

And that's a wrap for blog numero 1.
I'll leave you guys with this rare gem:

That's me in like the 8th grade, or maybe 7th? Whatever. Just one of those grades before 9th that I don't remember because of alcoholism.

Until next time!
Cheers

  2. Yeah, sure.

DAI's older shit was way better than their new shit, though. I hardly listen to them anymore.
